David's Obituary
David D. Duncan Sr., 80, of Dowagiac, passed away in his home peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2024.
There will be a Memorial Service on April 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 603 N. 17th St., Niles, MI.
David had a deep love for his family and would go anywhere on a vacation as long as it was a “family” vacation. He never missed an opportunity to play a round of golf, especially the standing Sunday afternoon tee time with his son & friends. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses David also enjoyed spending time sharing his beliefs from the Bible.
David is survived by his wife of 56 years, Penny Duncan, whom he married on July 29, 1967, in Twin Lakes, MI; his children, Sherry Prieb, David (Amanda) Duncan, Denise (Keith) Staron and five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Frieda, Leona “Mozelle”, William “Coy”, Barbara, and Trudy; and his parents, Ira and Mary Duncan.
