Frederick's Obituary

Frederick Q Teichert, aged 79, of Stevensville, peacefully passed away to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Born on January 17, 1945, in Watervliet, MI, he was the beloved son of Adolph & Anna (Pede) Teichert. Frederick was a proud graduate of St. Joseph High School and excelled as a master mechanic throughout his career. He first ventured into business ownership with Medric Distributing and later established Professional Audiometric Hearing Services.

Fred is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Medrith (Sturch) Mason Teichert, and is fondly remembered by his step-daughters: Janet (Chevy) Chevillet, Lori (Hal) Gibson, and Yvonne Mason. His legacy extends through his cherished grandchildren: Melissa (Shon), Branden (Jackie), Katy (James), Jonathan (Ellie), Griffin (Erica), & Madeleine (Matthew), as well as his adored great-grandchildren: Isabella, Owen, Olivia, Miles, Sofia, Leo, Cash, & Evelyn. He is also leaves behind his sister-in-law Caryl Sturch, brother-in-law Jim Sturch, aunt Miriam Pede, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frederick was proceeded in death by his parents, his in-laws Robert & Vera Sturch, his uncle Steve Pede, sister-in-law Elaine Sturch and brother-in-law Leon Sturch.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, from 11 am - 12 pm, followed by services at the Berrien County Baptist Church, Stevensville, MI, officiated by Pastor James K. Whitman.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church mission fund.
