Kenny Ray Sallee 59 of Niles, passed away on April 12th 2024. Surrounded by his family at Corewell Health Lakeland hospital in St. Joseph Michigan.
Kenny was born on Tuesday August 11th 1964, to Robert (Bill) Sallee and Iris May Sallee, at Pawating Hospital Niles Michigan. Kenny is the 6th child of 9.
Kenny grew up in Bertrand area in Niles until he was about 16 yrs old. He started working at Holts Auto Parts as a teenager, later on he went to work at L.H. Auto Parts and him and the owner became good friends.
Kenny then met Michelle Haff in 1987 and married her in 1988. He became the stepfather to her 3 children Rachel Haff, Calvin Haff, Tiffany Hibbard. In the month of May 1989, they welcomed their first daughter Krystal (Sallee) Gallegos and their second daughter Theresa (Sallee) McCord in July 1990.
Kenny enjoyed going fishing, working on small engines, racing and demolition derbies, but his first love was spending time with family and friends.
Kenny made a huge impact in a lot of people’s lives. He touched many lives during his time on this earth and now before his trip to heaven he will touch even more lives in his passing as he chose to become an organ donor. He will live on in many lives to come.
Kenny was proceeded in death by his mother and father, older sister Barbara Jean and younger brother David Sallee. Surviving family is his daughters Krystal (Joe) Gallegos, Theresa (Chris) McCord, sister Laurie Mueller, brothers Bob Sallee, John (Debbie) Sallee, Tom Sallee, Tracy (Debbie) Sallee, Gene Sallee. His Grandchildren Emma & Caleb Shewmaker-Haff, Brooklynn Berry, Samara Sallee, Hayden (Obama) Berry, Jordan Saros, Troy Sallee, Ryian Saros, Charlotte Gallegos, RJ & Jhayce Walker, Corbin (Little Brown Boy) Sallee. Many Nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
