Diana L. Haney

Diana L. Haney, 70, of Stevensville, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Graveside Burial Service will take place at Lincoln Township Cemetery Friday, October 26 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Diana was born on January 5, 1948, to James and Carmela Ott in St. Joseph. She graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1966. On August 5, 1967, she married Patrick Haney in St. Joseph. Diana worked at Whirlpool Financial for over thirty years before retiring. She then worked at the Herald Palladium for another twenty. Diana loved koala bears and collected them. She also enjoyed art, drawing, the New Orleans Saints and was a great cook. Most of all, Diana cherished her family. Diana is survived by her husband of 51 years, Patrick; daughter, Michelle (Mark) Beilman; sister, Mary Jane Mahoney; grandchildren, Amber (Tom) Bowman, Kirk (Michele) Beilman, Morgan Beilman and Matthew Beilman; great-grandchildren, Parker, Maddox and her beloved rescue dog, Freydo. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Carmela Ott and sister, Carol Maier.
