Patrick McIntosh

Patrick McIntosh, 80, of Stevensville, MI passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his home.  A Mass will be Celebrated 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 12, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bridgman with Fr. Arthur Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan or Our Lady Queen of Peace. Those wishing to share a memory of Patrick online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com  Patrick was born June 22, 1937 in St. Joseph, MI to George & Mary (Rauchfleisch) McIntosh. He graduated from St. John’s High School in Benton Harbor. Patrick served his country in the United States Air Force from 1954 until 1958. On June 4, 1966 he married Barbara Ziemke at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Patrick worked for Bendix as a processing engineer for 32 years retiring in 1995. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace, the Stevensville American Legion post 568 and the Korean War Veterans. In his spare time, he enjoyed military history whether it was telling stories, reading or watching movies about it.  Patrick is survived by his wife Barbara McIntosh; sister Teresa (Bill) Burke; and nieces Cathy (Tom) Champagne and Carolyn (Kevin Stapleton) Burke. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents.
