Julius “Dave” Zandarski Jr, 64 of Berrien Springs passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 12, 2018. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 9123 George Ave., Berrien Springs. A Graveside Service will follow at 3 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at the church from 5-7 pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. Those wishing to send a condolence or sign the guest book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Dave was born April 13, 1953 in St Joseph to Julius and Virginia Zandarski.  On October 5, 1974, he married Teresa Lausch.  For 37 years he worked at Hanson Cold Storage, Benton Harbor.  His true passion was farming.  He loved being outdoors and working on the farm with his dad and three brothers.  He also loved visiting and spending time with his two grandchildren Lauren and Andrew and especially yearly trips to Great Wolf Lodge.  He was an avid Tigers fan and would listen to all their games on the radio. He was the most generous, helpful, dad, grandpa and brother anyone could ask for and would always put others first. He will be greatly missed but we take comfort in knowing he has been reunited with his wife Teresa. Dave is survived by his father, Julius Zandarski of St Joseph; three brothers, Denny (Kris) Zandarski and Doug (Debbie) Zandarski of Berrien Springs, Don (Michele) Zandarski of Stevensville; daughter, Tanya (Steve) Blanchard of Royal Oak; step-daughter, Tami Maier Nelson of Berrien Springs; two grandchildren, Lauren and Andrew Blanchard of Royal Oak and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Zandarski and mother Virginia Zandarski.
