Cora Rose Rodell

Cora Rose (Phillips) Rodell, 76, of Coloma, MI, passed away Friday, January 5th, 2018, at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, MI. Arrangements entrusted to Starks and Menchinger Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI, 49085. A private burial will take place at a later date. She graduated from high school in Indianapolis, IN. On January 27, 2007, she married Dennis Lee Rodell in Palm Bay, FL. Cora loved Jesus, her family and grandchildren. She was known as the “DVD Queen” having over 1,000 DVD’s in her library. She also enjoyed traveling and collecting items for her huge owl collection. Cora is survived by her husband, Dennis; daughter, Cheryl (Sabas) Murillo; grandchildren, Amanda Murillo, Johnathon (Amber) Murillo and Joshua (Jordan) Murillo; great-grandchildren, Aden, Alyna, Kaiden, Attalya and Mariah; step-children, Tammy, Angie and Corey Rodell; step-grandchildren, Aaron and Alan; sister, Mary Query and brother, Billy Earl Toepfer. Cora was preceded by her parents; son, David Peters; sister, Wanita Flagler and brother, Jim Phillips.
