Betty's Obituary
Betty Baker, 63, of Watervliet, passed away September 19, 2017 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph. Pastor Windle Davis will share words of comfort at 7:30 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Betty was born January 26, 1954 in St. Joseph, MI to Claude & Katherine (Rogers) Easley. On September 15, 1987 she wed Terry Baker in St. Joseph. Betty kept a busy schedule caring for her home and her children. She loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband Terry; children, Chad Blakeman, Mark (Sherrie) Blakeman and Terry (Karen) Lee Baker Jr; ten grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings Claude Easley, Mary Valdez and Laura Cummings. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Pat Wenger.
