Doris Tribble

Doris Jean Miles Tribble, 63, of Benton Harbor passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at Centegra Medical Center in McHenry, IL. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Josetta Willis. On August 2, 1993 she wed Paul Lazar Tribble in Benton Harbor. Doris was very loving and caring and this was shown by her employment at the department of human services doing home care and assisting those with cooking, cleaning. She loved her church and was an active member of Progressive Baptist Church in Benton Harbor where she had a special relationship with Pastor Childs and Brother Robert Bell. Doris was a loving and caring mother, she was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and special cousin Carolyn Bledsoe. Doris is survived by her children, Josetta (Eric Jackson) Willis of Benton Harbor, Tierra (Jeremiah Simmons) Tribble of Rockford, IL, Johnetta (Michael Macintosh) Miles of Rockford, IL, Yekia Willis of Benton Harbor, Steven Miles of Madison, WI, Philippa Miles of Madison, WI and Ezell Miles of Rockford, IL; 21 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother Stanley Miles of Chicago; brother-in-law Renardo Rouse of Baroda; special friend Joyce Montgomery of Chicago and cousin Coo-Coo from Chicago and a host of nieces, nephews and friends She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Demetrius Antonio Miles, 5 grandchildren and sister Glenda Miles Rouse.
