Edward Eugene Eggers

Edward Eugene Eggers, 62, of Watervliet, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. Ed was born on April 21, 1954 to Eugene and Nancy Eggers in South Bend, IN. He graduated from Lakeshore High School, class of 1972. Ed was a United States Army Veteran, stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He worked at Modern Plastics in Coloma for several years. Ed enjoyed playing cards and watching sports on TV, especially Notre Dame Football. He loved spending time with his family and traveling with his parents. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Eggers; sisters, Kathy (Dan) Ott of Stevensville and Debbie (Thom) Brown of Dowagiac; nieces and nephews, Eric Ott, Sarah (John) Loftis, Jeff Ott, Thom (Cari) Brown II and Melissa (Norm) Singh and seven great nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Eggers.
