Jessica L. Harris, aka Polly Kent, 38, of South Haven, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016, at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, November 18, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph.  Friends may visit with the family Friday, November 18, 2016, from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Eunice Kent. However she was raised by John & Eunice Kent. Polly enjoyed being artistic, which was reflected in her drawings, colorings, poetry and journaling. She enjoyed cats, specifically lions and listening to music. Polly loved spending time and sharing in excitement with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her significant other of 8 years, Mike Darling of South Haven; mother, Eunice Kent of Pullman; birth parents, James “Butch” (Rosie) Harris of Benton Harbor and Bessie Harris of Lake Wells, FL; children, Trevor, Hope and Trent; granddaughter, Ariya Grace Payne; brothers, James “Butch” (Karah) Harris of Hartford, Jeff (Terri) Kent of Pullman and Jerry (Shauna) Kent of Manchester, IN; grandparents Steve (Bev) DeMaria of Benton Harbor; great uncle Frank (Beth) DeMaria of Baroda; great aunt Kathy (Harold) Kasischke of St. Joseph; aunts and uncles; Linda (Don Washburn) Harris of Benton Harbor, Jean (Teddy) Litaker of Edwardsburg, Phyllis Harris of Huntington, IN, Josephine Beeson of Watervliet,  Camillo G. DeMaria of Benton Harbor, Stephanie DeMaria of Bristol, IN, Stephen DeMaria of Benton Harbor, Nic DeMaria of Benton Harbor. Polly enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews  Madison Harris, Natalie Harris, Zachary Harris, Taylor (Shaeya) Kent ,great niece Aries Moon Kent as well as her many other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by father John Kent; grandmother Martha Christopher in 2000, uncles Milton (Skeeter) Beeson in 1998 and Ray Harris.
