Megan Rebecca Collins Safran, 40, formerly of Stevensville, MI, passed away, Monday, October 3, 2016 in Chester Springs, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4834 Cleveland Ave., Stevensville, MI, with Pastor Philip Quardokus officiating. Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda, MI.  Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Saturday at the church before the service or Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Starks and Menchinger Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.  Memorial donations may be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  Those wishing to sign Megan’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Megan was born June 24, 1976 in Omaha, NE, to Patrick and Susan (Orchard) Collins. She graduated from Lakeshore High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State. On August 7, 1999, Megan married Nathan Safran at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stevensville, MI. She was a very loving and devoted Mother to her sons.  She adored them. Megan is survived by her parents; husband, Nathan of Chester Springs, PA; children-Lane and Liam of Chester Springs, PA; and brother Joel Collins of Stevensville. MI.  She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, James Orchard (1999).
