Brandon's Obituary

Brandon Ross Kabelman, 30, of Littleton, Colorado passed away following a tragic accident. Brandon was born in Saginaw, MI on July 2nd, 1986 and the Lord graciously gave us this precious gift of life when he was 7 weeks old. On August 5th, 2016 God saw fit to call him home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Brandon grew up in Stevensville, MI attending Christ Lutheran School and Michigan Lutheran High School, graduating in 2005. He became a firefighter serving with St. Joseph Charter Township Station #1 with his father until he moved to Colorado where he graduated from Westwood College in Denver with an associate degree in automotive technology. Brandon is survived by his wife who was the love of his life, Michelle; his daughter Jenna Mae (9), and his sons Jonathan Patrick (2) and Jamison Gerald (1) of Littleton, CO. He is also survived by his parents Gerry and Jane Kabelman of Stevensville, MI; his brother Jamison (Samantha) Kabelman of Taylor, MI; his grandfather Beryl Fischer of Caledonia, MI; aunts and uncles Paul (Sue) Kabelman of Grand Rapids, MI, Mary Ann (Larry) Handwerk of Boyne City, MI, Godparents Joan and Alan Stack of Caledonia, MI, Robert Fischer of Ashland, OR, James (Paulette) Fischer of Grand Rapids, MI; cousins Douglas Stack, Timothy Stack, Angela (Todd) Coe, Andrew (Danielle) Fischer, Dayna Fischer, Derek Fischer, Melissa (Steve) Robinson, Chad (Amanda) Kabelman, Matthew (Katie) Kabelman. Also surviving father-in-law and mother-in-law Patrick and Kathie Harvey and a sister-in-law Megan Harvey of Littleton, CO. A half sister-in-law Kristina, (Tomas) Jonsson; nieces Sierra De Goldsmith, Alexis Jonsson, Victoria Jonsson and nephew Patrick Jonsson of Sweden. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Henrietta Fischer, grandparents Louis and Ruth Kabelman and his Aunt Janet Kabelman. A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 13th at Concordia Lutheran Church, Lakewood, CO. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4333 Cleveland Avenue, Stevensville, MI on Saturday Sept. 3rd, 2016 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers please consider contributing to the educational fund for Brandon and Michelle’s children, Jenna, Jonathon and Jamie.
