Josephine Barbara Brenner

Josephine Rozynek Brenner, 103, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2016 at Caretel Inns in St. Joseph, MI. Josephine was born on April 29, 1913 in Chicago and moved later to Union Pier, MI. She was the daughter of Anna and Bronislaw Rozynek. She married Harold D. Brenner In 1941. He preceded her in death. Josephine was an avid reader and a passionate home cook. She had a deep devotion to her Catholic faith and was a faithful member of St. Bernard Parish in Benton Harbor, MI. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Josephine is survived by her sons, Harold (Vicki) Brenner of Bonita Springs, Fl. and Philip (Yvonne)Brenner of Tarpon Springs, Fl., 5 grandchildren, John, Shannon, Whitney, Philip Jr. and Alex as well as 8 great grandchildren, Jack, Abby, Mackenzie, Alexander, Joe, Michael, Michelle, and Christian and 1 great,great grandchild, Jade. Mass will be held at 10:30 Am on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 555 Delaware, Benton Harbor with Father Brian Stanley officiating. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M.until 10:00 A.M at Starks and Menchinger Chapel 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph.
