Alvera's Obituary
Alvera M. Rimkus, 95, of Eau Claire, MI, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.
Alvera was born on June 8, 1920 in Chicago, IL to the late George and Sophie (Yurkes) Rimkus. Alvera is survived by a nephew Joseph (Anne) Gruszka of Milwaukee, WI. She is preceded by her parents and a sister-Alfina Gruszka.
A Memorial Service celebrating Alvera’s life will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation preceding the service from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Alvera’s final resting place will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
