Jerre's Obituary
Jerre B. Borowitz, 75, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home in St. Joseph.
Jerre was born on April 27, 1940 in St. Louis, MO to John and Veronica (Murphy) Borowitz. Jerre was an electrical engineer by trade. He loved his home, land, gardening, wine making, Netflix and most of all his family. Jerre was also a member of the Moose Lodge #1570 in Benton Harbor, MI.
Jerre is survived by his two children – Elliott (Jackie) Borowitz of Niles, MI and Emily (Josh) Borowitz-Karpinski of Buchanan, MI; his beloved two grandchildren – Ryder and Trystan; and two sisters – Tamara Clark of Fenton, MO and Lisa (Jefferey) Baughmgardener of Manchester, MO.
A visitation celebrating Jerre’s life will be held on Sunday, February 14, from 1:00-4:00 PM at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.
