Born October 29, 1935 in Italy, Teresa and her late husband Ferdinando married November 13, 1967 and eventually settled in Michigan’s Great Southwest. Like most great Italian women, she was a passionate cook, knew how to have fun, and was a loving mother, aunt and grandmother. Her family will miss her strong presence; you could see and feel her love in her eyes, smile and beautiful words. And they will forever admire how she fought so bravely in her final years, blatantly defying the odds and proving many medical experts wrong.
While her kindred spirit is and will be deeply missed, it carries on in the family she leaves behind: her two daughters Santina Moore and Raffaela Hosbein, sons-in-law Matt Hosbein and Jeremy Moore grandchildren Tyson and Gisella Hosbein, Jacob and Alexa Kraklau and Isabella Moore. She is also survived by her sisters Anna Santaniello, Carmela Bianchi and Nancy Pannone, brothers Fred and Tony Macerata, and many nieces and nephews who she treated as her own.
