Mickey “Carp” Ott, 57, of St. Joseph passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 7:00 P.M. Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Mickey was born September 18, 1957 in St. Joseph, MI to Gordon & Stephanie (Demchinski) Ott. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1975. Mickey was a Bartender for the Chatter Box in Benton Harbor. He loved to play pool, golf and was an avid fisherman on Lake Michigan. He also loved spending time at the beach with his dogs Bruno and Rizzo and was an avid Cubs fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends especially his daughter.
Mickey is survived by his daughter Stephanie Ott; the love of his life Cathy Lynn Kiser; step-daughters Cassia (Aaron) Gibson, Kippy (Josh) Trinidad; five step-grandchildren A.J., Dacota, Arianna and Madilynn Gibson and Kamrin Peden; sisters Sandy (Garth) Anderson and Debbie (Jack) Hagedorn; and many nieces and nephews. Mickey was preceded in death by his parents.
