Craig Joseph Campbell, 22, of St. Joseph passed away July 14, 2015 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 A.M., Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware Ave., Benton Harbor, with Father German Perez-Diaz officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 17, 2015 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with rosary recited at 7:30 P.M. Craig was born February 3, 1993 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Joseph and Anne (Timmer) Campbell.  He lived a very active lifestyle. Growing up he participated in a variety of sports including gymnastics, soccer, baseball, wrestling, and football. He was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with honors from St Joseph High School in 2011. He received a full scholarship to attend Lake Michigan College and graduated with honors and an Associate’s degree in Nursing in 2014. Immediately following his graduation, Craig began working in the Emergency Room at Lakeland Hospital as a registered nurse. He was very passionate about his job and his ambition was to go to medical school to become a doctor. Prior to the ER, Craig worked at Silver Beach Pizza with the love of his life, Taylor Green. He loved the beach and traveling, and he had proposed to Taylor on a cruise this past April. Craig is survived by his parents, Joseph and Anne Campbell of St. Joseph; grandparents, Robin & Judith “Carol” Campbell of Fairfield Glade, TN; sisters, Nicole and Meghan Campbell of St. Joseph; his fiancée, Taylor Green of St. Joseph; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
