yyMattie Sue Wolfe, 67, of Benton Harbor, passed away, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. Celebration of Home Going Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Camellia Bogan officiating.  Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma.  Friends may visit with the family from Noon until 1PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Donations may be made to Lory’s Place. Mattie was born June 15, 1947 in Humboldt, Tennessee to Richard & Mary Sue (Donald) Jackson.  The family moved to Benton Harbor where she attended Benton Harbor Schools.  Mattie returned to school later in life and graduated with her niece in 1985 from Benton Harbor High School.  She was employed for forty years as a personal care giver.  Mattie was a member of Our Center for Better Living, and loved to travel and shop. Mattie is survived by her children-Diane Pope of Huntsville, Alabama, James Wolfe, Jr. of Henderson, Nevada, Robert Wolfe of N. Las Vegas, Nevada; ten grandchildren-Renise Wolfe, Raygan Wolfe, Ashley Tuttle, Ava Wrenn, Jasmyn Wolfe, Jordan Wolfe, Karli Wolfe, Isabella Wolfe, Jessi Wolfe, & Kennedi Jefferson; two sisters-Annette Davison & Robbie Cummings, both of Benton Harbor; her brother David  (Edwina) Jackson of Kalamazoo; and a host of nieces, nephews & extended family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Birdie Jackson and her brother Jessie Jackson.
