Scott Michael Morris

Scott Michael Morris, 46, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, November 11, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Kevin Parkins officiating. Burial will be held following the service at Spring Grove Cemetery in Bloomingdale, MI. Friends may visit from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Those wishing to share a memory of Scott may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com Scott was born November 5, 1968 in St. Joseph to Ron & Carol (Albrecht) LoPresti. He graduated from Coloma High School in 1987. He went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University. After finishing school he began teaching at Lake Michigan College and Seeley McCord School District. Later, he went on and worked as an R.N. for special needs children in the Van Buren Intermediate School District. One of Scott’s many passions was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was an active member of H.O.G. “Harley Owners Group”. On top of his Harley passion he also loved to crochet. The most important thing to Scott was his family. He loved them more than anything, especially when everyone would take vacations up to Traverse City. Scott’s favorite time of the year was Christmas. The lights and the holiday spirit put the biggest smile on his face. Scott is survived by parents Ron & Carol LoPresti; brother Nick (Alison) LoPresti of Enola, Pennsylvania; many aunts, uncles & cousins; special aunt Suzanne Snyder (MFA); special niece Anna LoPresti, special nephew Julian LoPresti; special friends Sue Burkard, Shelly Blair and Missy Spica.
