Phyllis Pallas, 95, of Stevensville, MI passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 21, 2014 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Rd., Stevensville, with Pastor Brett Ehlke officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Phyllis was born August 23, 1918 in Dowagiac, MI to Charles & Cecil (Thomas) Wickwire. She graduated from Stevensville High School and on February 11, 1940 she married Harvey Pallas at St. Paul’s Lutheran Parsonage. Phyllis was a homemaker who kept a busy schedule caring for her family. She was a member of the Ladies Aid at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and in her spare time enjoyed gardening.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Sharon Geisler of Stevensville; three sons, Harvey Pallas of Stevensville, Richard Pallas of Stevensville and Ron (Eileen) Pallas of Baroda; 5 grandchildren Debora (Mark) Roundtree, Dawn (Eric) Wang, Regan Pallas, Jason Pallas and Craig (Janelle) Pallas; 6 great grandchildren Dominic, Kannen, Makenzie, Ryan, Matthew and Charlie; 6 step grandchildren; 13 step great grandchildren; and 2 step great great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters Frances Herrman and Eleanor Wickwire.
