Aya's Obituary
Aya Jane VanKirk, infant daughter of David VanKirk & Lechelle Krapohl of Baldwin, Michigan, was stillborn, Sunday, January 12, 2014.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 P.M. Friday, January 17 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Bill Shepard officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lake County Health Department or to the Family. Aya is survived by her parents David & Lechelle; her grandparents-Dea & Kern Krapohl of St. Joseph; her great-grandmothers-Carol VanKirk & Catherine Knoll of Sparta, Wisconsin; and her godparents-D.J. Swatkowski & Linden Hayward. She was preceded by her paternal grandparents-Randy & Jane VanKirk.
