Paul Fredrick Koehler

Paul Fredrick Koehler, 79, of Coloma, MI passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at his home in Coloma. A Celebration of Life Gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will take place at a later date at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. On August 15, 1953 he married Frances Ellen Jane “Janie” Luttrell in Benton Harbor, MI. Paul did carpentry and tool and die work for most of his life. Paul is survived by his children Marilyn Koehler of Benton Harbor, Michael (Cindy) Koehler of Coloma, Mitchell Koehler of Coloma, Melinda (Barry) Klukas of Rockford, MI, and Mary (Rodney) Hawkins of La Porte, IN. A Grandfather to Danny (Angie), Chrissy (Josh), Michael (Diana), David (Brandi), Branden (Corine), Jessica, Nicole, Brandie (Eric), Amy, Ariel, Jacob, Christian; and Great Grandfather to Danny, Dalton, Kaelyn, Austin, Jackson, Claire, Shelby and sister Frances Bishop of Benton Harbor. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter Marjorie Marquardt.
