Gladys A. Brown, 95, of Berrien Center, MI passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Crown Point in Stevensville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday December 14, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 9123 George Ave., Berrien Springs. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the church. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday at Spring Run Cemetery in St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Berrien Springs. Gladys was born June 26, 1918 in Sodus, MI to Gustave & Amolia (Gaul) Pudell. She worked for Berrien General Hospital for 28 years in the Laundry Department. On June 1, 1940 she married Harlan Brown in Sodus, MI. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Berrien Springs and was part of the Ladies Aid and Alter Guild. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and word puzzles.
Gladys is survived by her daughters Sharon (Dale) Clem of Summerfield, FL and Patricia (Gary) Bradfield of Berrien Springs, MI; daughter-in-law Julie Brown of Niles, MI; eight grandchildren Douglas (Sherry) Clem, Dean (Debra) Clem, Anne Clem, Jeffrey (Yasmin) Bradfield, Jamie (Phil) Humnicky Bradfield, Kristin Bradfield, Edward (Jessica) Brown, and Amy Brown-VanDalsen; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Glenn Brown and siblings Edward Pudell, Lillian Harris, William Pudell, Eleanor, Froehlich, Mabel Garlanger, Richard Pudell, Arthur Pudell, and Malita Kugle.
