Jackie Allen, 49, of Stevensville, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Marie Jaeger Cancer Center, St. Joseph. She was employed as senior scheduler by AEP/Cook Nuclear in Bridgman. Jackie enjoyed Jimmy Buffett Music, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her two new grandchildren. She opened her home to many of her children’s friends, which she treated as her own. Jackie is survived by her children-Gabrielle Medina and her husband Matthew Buschur of Alexandria, VA, Tony Medina of Stevensville, Emily Allen of Niles, MI, Genna Allen of Stevensville; two grandchildren-Sophie Buschur & Tristan Medina; her long-time companion Norman Olson of Stevensville; her parents-Robert (Sue) Forstner of Texas, Janet Blair of Coloma; her siblings-Annette (Jim) Mintun of Elkhart, IN, Robert (Kelly) Forstner of Coloma, Brenda Forstner of Traverse City, Nicole (David) Schulz of Canton, MI; and two nephews-Carl & Steven Seitz.
