Margaret Morgan

Margaret “Marg” Morgan, 86, of Benton Harbor passed away April 10, 2013, at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 A.M. on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M at the funeral home. Marg was born July 24, 1926, in Brothertown, WI, to Peter and Barbara (Leitner) Karls. On February 7, 1948, in Vancouver, WA she married James “Jim” Morgan, and together they raised five children. Marg worked at Heath Company in St. Joseph for 26 years before retiring. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Marg enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. Marg is survived by her husband Jim of 65 years; five children, Carol (Joe) Welton of Hastings, Cheryl Morgan of Benton Harbor, Ken (Karen) Morgan of Sodus, Art Morgan of Romulus, MI, Don (Shelley) Morgan of Lynchburg, VA; seven grandchildren, Bobbie Lynn (Ed) Roman, Sean (Chelsea) Jozwiak, Alan (Jami) Przybylinski, Jeff (Missy) Przybylinski, Derek (Rosalinda Mejia) Morgan, Cameron Morgan, and Stan (Cortney) Modelewski; sister, Sally Braun of Port Washington, WI; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two canine companions, Bear and Spice. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
