George's Obituary
George Walker, Jr., 52, of Benton Harbor, MI died on Sat., July 6, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted with Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home in St. Joseph.
George was born Jan. 27, 1960 in Louisville, MS to George and Ida (Triplett) Walker. He is survived by his siblings, Sydney (Carol) Walker of Grand Rapids, Abbagail (Ernest) Allen of Benton Harbor, Sandra (Andrew) Belser of Atlanta, Michelle Thomas of Benton Harbor, Marshia Walker of Benton Harbor, Tamara Walker of Milwaukee, and Shanta Culpepper of Grand Rapids; step-children, Rashonda, Rokeia and Rovanda Turner of Benton Harbor; special friends, Lisa McCall, Mae McCoy, Robert Sharp and Lewis; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. George was preceded in death by his parents. George was compassionate and caring to his many friends and family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 13, 4:00pm, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Kenneth Bell officiating.
