Diana Frances Hutchins

Diana F. Hutchins, 64, of Bridgman, passed away, Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph. Celebration of Life Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Lewis Lambert officiating. Friends may call from Noon until 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Diana was born April 20, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to Francis & Odell (Locke) Salach. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1966. Diana enjoyed 30 plus years of marriage to Robert Hutchins, Sr. She endured many years of MS but never complained. Diana was a strong-willed, kind-hearted person who was always concerned about others. She enjoyed watching game shows on TV. Diana is survived by her husband Robert; her son Michael (Lela) Hutchins of Coloma; five grandchildren; her mother Odell Salach of St. Joseph; three sisters-Linda (Stanley) Masters of St. Joseph, Pamela Salak of Portage, MI, Paula (Eric) Burkhardt of South Portland, Maine; five nieces & one nephew. She was preceded in death by her father Francis Salach and her son Robert Hutchins, Jr. both in 1992.
