Denise Jones, 57, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at her home.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 467 Fairford Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Denise was born August 11, 1954 in Grosse Pointe, MI to George & Eleanor (Cook) Haezebrouck. She graduated from South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores, MI. On September 12, 1975, she married Michael Jones in Grosse Pointe, MI. Denise worked for the Social Security Office for 33 years. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, entertaining, shopping, and animals.
Denise is survived by her husband Mike Jones of St. Joseph; parents George and Eleanor Haezebrouck of St. Clair Shores, MI; brother Jeffery (Jan) Haezebrouck of Southfield, MI; sister Jill (John) Genuit of Macomb, MI; six nephews; five nieces and one great nephew.
