James's Obituary
James Paul Dekker, 55, of Bridgman, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011.
James was born May 3, 1956 in Coshocton, Ohio to Richard & Elaine (BeMent) Dekker. He graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in New York. James worked for IPC as a millwright for many years and also for Deerpath Recyclers in Dowagiac. In his spare time he loved nature and the outdoors. Camping, fishing and hunting were his favorites. He also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family, friends and his dog Odin.
James is survived by his siblings Richard (Naomi) Dekker of Denver, CO, Julia (Randall) Welsher of Benton Harbor, Mark (Marge) Dekker of Chandler, AZ and Laura (Dan) Brame of Hampshire, IL; nieces Sarah Dekker-Cooper of Denver, CO and Ana Dekker of Denver, CO; nephew Matthew Welsher of Lawrence, MI.
