Bharati's Obituary
Bharati Doshi, 76, of St. Joseph, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 04, 2011 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland in St. Joseph.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon, Sunday June 5, 2011 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel. Cremation will follow the service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Those wishing to sign Bharati's Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Mrs. Doshi was born May 31, 1935 in Rajkot, India to Anantbhai & Kanchanben (Modi) Doshi. She earned her bachelor's degree in arts in India. On November 23, 1960, she married Dr. Harshad Doshi in India. She moved to St. Joseph in 1972 with her family when her husband founded his medical practice. Bharati enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Bharati is survived by two daughters-Sonia (Parimal) Zaveri of Pleasanton, California, Nina Doshi of St. Joseph; three grandchildren-Paayal, Kaajal, and Nihall Zaveri; and her sister Mrudula (Manhar) Vora of Bombay, India.
