Laird Hartline

Laird Hartline, 46, of Sodus, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30A.M. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery. Friends may visit from 4:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. Monday, February 14, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hartline Family. Those wishing to share a memory online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Laird was born May 27, 1964 in St. Joseph, MI to Robert & Ruth (Cook) Hartline. On December 24, 2003 he married Angela Gardner in Sodus. Laird was a self-employed truck driver for Hartline trucking. He was a man who was full of life, had a huge heart, never met a stranger and was never at a loss for words. In his spare time he loved spending time with family and friends who will dearly miss him. He also enjoyed working on his truck, riding motorcycles, fishing and telling jokes. Laird is survived by his wife Angela Hartline of Sodus; and his children Jennifer & Harlie Hartline and Amber & Brandon Schroeder; mother Ruth (Harry) Simenson; three sisters Debra (J.D.) Romaneschi, Shauna Troy, and Melanie (Doug) Kincheloe; mother & father in-law Diane (Dale) Gardner; two sister-in-laws Nancy Hartline and Dawn (Bill) Craig; nieces & nephews Justin, Shane, Erik, Shaya, Makaila, Casey, and Justin. Laird was preceded in death by his father Robert and brother Breck Hartline.
