Cheryl's Obituary
Cheryl Lynn Dilts, 47, of St. Joseph passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 after fighting a long hard battle with cancer.
A memorial gathering will be held at 1:00 P.M. October 9, 2010 at the home of Lori King, 5601 A Paw Paw Lake Rd., Coloma, MI 49038. Memorials in Cheryl's name may be made to Royalton Manor. Those wishing to share a memory online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Cheryl was born October 13, 1962 in St. Joseph, MI to Jerry Dilts & Roseann (Cole) Valley. She graduated from Coloma High School in 1981. In her spare time she enjoyed going to the beach, loved animals, and making crafts of all kinds. Cheryl always kept a positive attitude and never once complained about her condition.
Cheryl is survived by her father Jerry and step-mother Patsy Dilts of Benton Harbor; Mother Roseann (Joe) Valley of Florida; daughter Lori King of Coloma and her children Olivia and Lucas; two sisters Laura (Kenneth) Scheffler of Benton Harbor; Kim (Gary) Brady; step brother Jeff (Kym) Dilts of Stevensville, two step sisters Jessica Keefer of Benton Harbor and Kimberly Fancher Tribble of St. Joseph; nieces Holly Cope, Sheri Scheffler, Bobbie Jo Foster and Kelly Adams as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews. Cheryl will forever be missed by all.
