Estela's Obituary

Estela L. Miser, 60, of Stevensville, passed away at home with her family by her side. Arrangements have been entrusted with Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home of St. Joseph, MI. Estela was born in Michigan City, IN on March 22, 1950 to Aureliano and Doris (Burgoyne) Baca. She made her home in Three Oaks and Coloma before moving to Ft. Wayne in 1992. Estela was married to Dennis Paul Miser on November 1, 1992. Both Estela and Dennis moved to Stevensville in February of this year to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Estela was a passionate, devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She had worked for 38 years at AEP both in Benton Harbor and Ft. Wayne before retiring May 2008. Estela is survived by her husband Dennis; two daughters, Erica (Jeff) Momany of Baroda, MI and Jill (John) Bilton of Eau Claire, MI; two sons, Jeremiah Miser of Ft. Wayne, IN and Joshua (Kelly Diane) Miser of Pittsburg, PA; three grandchildren, Devin Bilton, Owen Bilton and Marley Momany; and a brother, Ramon Baca of Kalamazoo, MI. Her parents-Aureliano and Doris Baca preceded her in death. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 1:00pm at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI, with Rev. Paul Koehneke officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 8, from 5:00-8:00pm, as well as on Friday from 12noon till time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Estela Miser Grandchildren's Memorial College Fund, set up at the Berrien Teachers Credit Union.
