Jessie Mae Allen

Jessie Mae Allen, 75 of Chesterfield, VA and formerly of Benton Harbor, MI passed away in her home on Sunday, January 11, 2009 in the loving presence of her family. A wake will be held from 12:00 to 1:00P.M. Saturday, at Macedonia Community Church, 6161 Pipestone Rd., Eau Claire with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 P.M. officiated by Rev. George Robinson. She leaves to cherish a daughter; Sandra (Michael) Quarles of VA; five sons, Charlie Mac (Sheril) Allen of Benton Harbor, Alvin J. Allen of Indianapolis IN, Anthony D. (Charon) Allen of Richmond VA, Timothy Allen of Benton Harbor, Jeffery (Tiffany) Allen of Benton Harbor; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Payne of Benton Harbor, and Bessie Lee Cross of Detroit, MI; a brother Walter Lairry of Union City, TN; and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie on April 29, 2000, a son Kenneth Lee Allen in 1980, and by her parents.
