Betty Joyce Beilman

Betty J. Bielman, 73, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at her home. A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be held from 12:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Santaniello’s Banquet Hall, 2262 W. Glenlord Rd., Stevensville, MI. Those wishing to send the family a message of condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Betty was born on July 27, 1935 in Ettawa, Arkansas to John and Geneva (Hallmark) Eddings. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School and enrolled in the U.S. Navy thereafter. She cherished raising her eight children. She enjoyed genealogy, watching old movies, traveling (especially to Maui, Hawaii) and modeling in her younger days. She enjoyed life to the fullest and she will be greatly missed by those whom knew and loved her. Betty is survived her children, Darcy Truhn of Coloma, Donota (Jim) Swaggert of Tulsa, OK, Brian (Sandra) Truhn of St. Louis, MO, Dawn Truhn of Los Angeles, CA, Candi Rice of Tucson, AZ, Stacy (Buck) Brown of Tulsa, OK, Mark Beilman of Benton Harbor, Michelle Estrada of Las Vegas, NV; twenty grand-children, eleven great grand-children; an Aunt Lorraine of Ettawa, AR and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Geneva and her sister, Wanda Easley.
