Tina's Obituary
Tina Stevens, 47, of Benton Harbor passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday March 27, 2009 at First Assembly of God, 3084 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Dan Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the church. Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God. Mrs. Stevens was born January 14, 1962 in Chicago, IL. to Larry Turner and Geraldine Hudson. She accepted Jesus Christ as her savior on April 15, 1990 and has since been a faithful servant and most recently became a member of First Assembly of God Church. On April 13, 2001 she married Danny Stevens in Benton Harbor. Tina was a dedicated employee of Lakeland for the past 17 years. Most of her time was devoted to her family and especially she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Stevens is survived by her mother Geraldine Hudson of Benton Harbor; daughter Tamika Catchings of Benton Harbor; two sons Keeyonn Gill Sr. of Benton Harbor, and Julius Gill of Benton Harbor; four grandchildren Keeyonn Gill Jr. of Benton Harbor, Demetrius Wesby Jr. of Benton Harbor, Keyona Catchings of Benton Harbor, and Zaki Dyson of Benton Harbor; five sisters Ivy Gill of Benton Harbor, Wanda Johnson of Benton Harbor, Natiasha Exum of Chicago, Kathleen Turner of Chicago and Barbara Dixon of Chicago; mother-in-law Mamie Smith. Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her father Larry Turner.
