Cheryl's Obituary
CHERYL KAY PRICE, 61 of St. Joseph, MI, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, March 5, 2009, while surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 9th, 1947, in Oconto Falls, WI, the daughter of Eldred and Agnes Schuster. On August 19th, 1967 she married Ronald Price. Cherry loved her family and especially time with her grandchildren. They were the love of her life. Cherry also loved volunteering and spending time visiting “her ladies” at the nursing home. She enjoyed decorating and shopping in her free time. Her passion for gardening shined both at her home and at her church that she loved with all her heart. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Ron; her children, Jodi (Todd) Gifford of Grand Rapids, MI, Sara (Mark) Bailey of Mt. Clemens, MI, and Shane (Jodi) Price of Oswego, IL. Cheryl is also survived by six grandchildren, Lizzy and Connor Gifford, Zakary and Owen Bailey, and Lilli and Cooper Price. She is also survived by her sisters, Sheila (Frank) Mroczkowski and Jenny (Dennis) Colling; brother-in-law Don (Lavon) Price; sister-in-law Peg (Jim) Ray and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldred and Agnes Schuster; her in-laws Lavern and Mable Price; brother-in-law Jim Price; brother-in-law Allan Price; and nephew Sean Colling.
