Marjorie's Obituary
Marjorie Rybarczyk, 87, of Stevensville, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 at her home in Stevensville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Burial will take place directly following the service at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Marjorie was born on May 30, 1921, in Tawas, Michigan. Marjorie graduated from Lake Michigan College with a degree in nursing. Her career encompassed over 30 years of nursing in the area. After retiring, she worked as a Volunteer at Lakeland and was also a member at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Marjorie is survived by her three children Mary Alice Boone of Marquette, MI; John Rybarczyk of Stevensville, MI and Norbert Joe (Dorothy) Rybarczyk, Jr. of Stevensville, MI. She is also survived by one brother Raymond (Joyce) Smith and five grandchildren, Norbert Joe III; Christine; Carrie; Stephen and Patrick. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Norbert, whom she married on November 22, 1940 in Tawas, MI.. She was also preceded in death by her father Lloyd Smith and mother Rachel Stonehouse.
