Tommy's Obituary

ST. JOSEPH – Tommy Lee Jackson, 49, of St. Joseph, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. A service celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 5, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Bright Star Tabernacle. Tommy was born on August 11, 1957, in Gideon, Missouri, to Robert A. and Shirley (Williams) Jackson. He was a drywall finisher for many years, most recently operating his own business, Jackson’s Drywall. He was a member of the Iron Horse Motorcycle Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Robert L. (Jennifer) Jackson of St. Joseph and Tony (Bonny) Jackson of Ullin, Ill.; his grandparents, Linnie Mae Jackson of Portageville, MO, Marie Jackson of Palm Bay, FL, and Anna Maybelle Williams of Carbondale, IL; four nieces; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tandy Jackson, and his grandfathers, Bill Jackson and Oce Williams.
