Bonnie Huston

Bonnie Huston, 83, of Dowagiac, MI, died peacefully at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013, of natural causes. She was born to the late Forest and Louisa Somers on February 14, 1930, in Pokagon Township. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dwain Huston. They lived together in Dowagiac, MI for 28 years. Bonnie loved her family and some of the favorite times were the holidays where she would cook large meals and entertain. Baking was one of her favorite things to do. She loved telling stories about her generation. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Louisa and one brother Tom Somers Also surviving her two children: Gary and Marguerite Huston and Sherri Zablocki, four grandchildren: Brian Huston, Eric Huston, Stacy Gash and Jason Zablocki, nine great-grandchildren: Gabrielle Solomon, Cody Huston, Zechary Huston, Tyler Huston, Taylor Truesdell, Titus Gash, Nicholas Zablocki, Ricky Gash and Lexy Daniel and two sisters: Evelyn True and Mary Irwin. Her graveside memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Missions Hills Cemetery.
