Ralph's Obituary
Ralph S. Mosher, 90, of Kalamazoo, formerly of Benton Harbor, passed away after a brief illness, Thursday, June 23, 2005, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00A.M., Tuesday, June 28, 2005, with Father Bill Jacobs, Jr. officiating, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will be North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma, with Graveside Military Rites conducted by Coloma American Legion Post #362, Benton Harbor VFW Post #1137, Watervliet VFW Post #6803. Visitation is one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00A.M. Memorials may be made in Ralph?s name to the charity of your choice. Ralph was born January 24, 1915, in Sandwich, Illinois to Walter and Hazel (Hickok) Mosher. He attended Benton Harbor Schools, graduating in 1932, and served his country in the Navy Seabees during World War II. On December 31, 1948 he married Marian Kesterke, in South Bend, Indiana. Ralph was employed by Ross Carrier Corp. and its successor Clark Equipment for over twenty years, and retired from GM Corp. in 1980 after twenty years of service. Ralph was a Life member of the Lakeshore Masonic Lodge, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, member of the York Rite Commandary, and member of Island X-18 Seabees Organization in Inverness, Florida.
Ralph is survived by Marian, his wife of 56 years; son Terence (Darlene) Mosher of Kalamazoo; grandchildren ? Karen (Steve) Ryder of Gobles, and Brian (Shellie) Mosher of Otsego; great-grandchildren ? Alex Goldsberry, Collin Goldsberry, Briahna Mosher, Carson Ryder, Jacy Wasoski; sister-in-law Leona Cutter of Benton Harbor; brother-in-law Donald (Vivian) Kesterke; and numerous nephews and nieces.
