Nora Lee Wisecup, 58, of Stevensville, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2005, at her home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Paul Mumaw officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may call on the family from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 7, 2005, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of South Western Michigan, 641 S. Crystal Ave., Benton Harbor, 49022. Nora Lee was born to Dr. J. Robert and Betty (Kordenbrock) Schauer on August 28, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio. She attended the University of Kentucky and graduated from Miami Valley Nursing School in Dayton, Ohio with a R.N. degree. She worked for Jordan?s Nursing Home for seventeen years. Nora Lee married Andrew Wisecup on December 20, 1969, in Fairborn, Ohio. Nora Lee loved spending time with and caring for her grandchildren.
Nora Lee is survived by her husband Andy of Stevensville; children- Megan (Bob) Dickel of Oak Park, IL, Wendy (John) Missad of Jenison, MI, and Alex (Jaime) Wisecup of Granger, IN; mother Betty Schauer of Bridgman; grandchildren- Katie and Callum Dickel and Joseph and Samantha Lee Missad; brothers- Steve Schauer of Three Rivers and Bob Schauer of West Lafayette, IN; and sister Martha Schauer of Camden, MI.
Nora was preceded in death by her father.
