Linda Mae Irk

Linda Irk, 48, of Baroda died Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 3, 2004, at St. Peter?s Church, 621 Church St., St. Joseph, with Rev. Randy Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 12:00 ? 1:00 PM, Friday, at the Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army. Linda was born January 2, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY, to Edward & Bertha (Benjamin) Schroeder. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1974 and sang in the St. Peter?s Church Choir. One of her favorite past time was working on her family history. She is survived by her mother Bertha of St. Joseph; seven children – Jason Marasco of San Anton TX, Ken Marasco of San Jose Calf, Jeff Irk of LaPorte, IN, Chevin (James) Carter of Iowa, Samantha Irk of LaPorte IN, Robert Irk LaPorte, Elizabeth Irk LaPorte IN; three Grandchildren; and one sister – Faith (Steven) Smith of Lafayette, IN. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Schroeder on November 10, 2004.
