Ronald's Obituary
Ronald Eldon Clark, 49, of Eau Claire passed away at Lakeland Medical Center in Saint Joseph on November 27, 2012. He died after a very long and courageous battle with lung cancer. He had all the hopes in the world to live long enough to see his 5th grandson, Cebastian, be born in December. Now he will just have to see him from Heaven.Ron was born in Gary, IN on March 18, 1963 to Helen (Henderson) and Eldon Clark. He did, however, live most of his life in southwestern Michigan.Ron loved farming and growing produce. He worked as a young boy on the local farms in the Riverside area where he was at home since about age nine or so.Ron loved the woods and the swamps. He couldn’t get enough of fishing, and was really looking forward to deer hunting this year. Out the grace of God, the biggest buck is safe now.Ron is survived by his wife of 2 ½ years, companion of almost 18 years, Gayla (Killian) Clark, his mother, Helen Schroeck of Riverside, his children, Callie Clark (Courtney Peterson), Catherine “Caytee” Clark (Timothy White) all of Elkhart, IN, Matt Ory of Eau Claire, Ryne Ory (Ericka Whitehead) of Benton Harbor. And we can’t forget his beloved dogs, Casper and Whitey, his “boys”.Grandchildren, Katie Edwards, Brice Myatt, Kayla Ory, Kylie Ory, Jaden Ory, Alexus Ory, Conner Clark, Keagan Bowers and Cebastian White who is on the way.Brothers and sisters, Phillip Clark of Conroe, TX, Brenda Rose of Florida, Michael Clark of Benton Harbor, Darrin (Linda) Clark of Riverside and Jamie Clark ( Rich Fineout) of Niles and many nieces and nephews.He was unfortunately preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Edwards, as well as both his fathers, Eldon Clark and Hubert Schroeck along with his favorite grandmother, “Granny” Mamie Stohrer. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Bright Star Tabernacle Church in Eau Claire with Pastor Mike Fields officiating. Burial will be in Lake Shore Cemetery.
