Catherine Neubauer

Catherine Borrelli Neubauer, 33, of St. Joseph, passed away at the home of her grandmother Joan Stewart, on Saturday, June 12, 2004. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 14, 4:00P.M., with Rev. Rich Koster officiating, at Kerley&Starks-Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. There will be an hour of visitation with the family preceding the service, from 3:00-4:00P.M. Catherine has been cremated according to her wishes. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice At Home of Stevensville, MI, or to the Berrien County Cancer Service. Catherine was born August 9, 1970, in St. Joseph, MI, to Charles and Becky (Gustine) Borrelli. She graduated from North White High School, Monon, IN, in 1988; and received her BA in Education from Purdue University in 1999. Catherine was an elementary school teacher in Dayton, Ohio, in the Union School District. She is survived by three sisters, Jennifer (Jason) Swartz of Kentland, IN, Kari (Lee) Wainuskis of North Port, FL, Amanda Borrelli of St. Joseph, MI; a brother, Allen (Alicia) Kizman of DeMotte, IN; step-father, Carl Kizman of Lake Village, IN; step-mother, Susan Gerlach Borrelli; grandmother, Joan Borrelli Stewart of St. Joseph, MI; grandparents, Charles & Tresa Gustine of Benton Harbor, MI; three nieces, Erin, Sydney and Sierra Swartz; also many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Catherine is preceded in death by her parents – Charles Borrelli and Becky Kizman; and her paternal grandfather Augustine Borrelli.
