Marjorie A. Dallard, 87, of St. Joseph, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Caratel Inns of Lakeland, St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, November, 19, 2009 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI with Rev. Catherine Balk officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. before the start of the service. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Marjorie A. (Hoehne) Dallard was born on October 24, 1921 in St. Joseph, MI to George and Anna (Foll) Hoehne. She was one of three children, her sister, Lois and brother, Erwin. Marjorie married William J. Dallard in December 29, 1942. Marjorie was crowned Miss St. Joseph in 1941. She was a life long member of St. Peters Church in St. Joseph, MI singing in the choir for over 20 years. She sang in local bands in the 1940s. Marjorie was an avid bowler and golfer. She will be missed by her sister and her family and friends very much.
Marjorie is survived by a sister, Lois (Jack) Ward of St. Joseph; nephews, Kevin (Ellen) Ward of Waleska, GA, Keith (Deborah) Ward of St. Joseph, MI, Kerry Ward of Chicago, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William in September 9, 1979; her parents, George and Anna (Foll) Hoehne and a brother, Erwin Hoehne.
