Michael's Obituary
Michael’s life began on August 18, 1961 in Kokomo, IN; the son of David and Marilyn Jean (Roach) Woolsey. He was employed as an automotive mechanic. Michael was united in marriage to the former Tina Polmanteer Yakim in 2003 in Cassopolis, MI. He lived his life for his children and his family. His loving family includes his wife Tina Woolsey of Dowagiac, children Jonathan (Courtney) Woolsey of Dowagiac, Eric (Ashley) Woolsey of South Bend, Barry Yakim, Jr. of Dowagiac, Ashley Woolsey, David M. Woolsey and Special Son Steven Yakim, all of Dowagiac, grandchildren Dezirae, Savannah and Adlyn, brothers Ed and Scott (Marilyn) Woolsey, sister Missy (John) Sowders, step mother Laurie Woolsey and several aunts, uncles, nephews and a niece. Michael passed away on Sunday March 25, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family. His family will gather with friends on Friday from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday led by Pastor Stacy Wilder. He will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the family in care of Tina Woolsey.
