Bobbie Joe Barger

Bobbie’s life began on January 1, 1937 in Loudon, TN., the son of Clifford and Tressa (Galyon) Barger. He was united in marriage to the former Barbara Hatheway on April 13, 2005 in Florida. Bobbie was a heavy equipment operator installing sea walls in Port Charlotte Florida until his retirement, he then worked at Walmart as a greater. Bobbie enjoyed watching sports especially wrestling, football and Nascar Racing. His loving family includes his wife Barbara of Dowagiac, his son Joe(Jeanie) Barger, sisters Joan Johnson and Shirley Itson, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Bobbie passed away on Sunday January 8th, 2012 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph MI. He is preceded in death by a son Greg, a sister Mary Ella and two brothers Jimmy and Billy. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family gathering at a later time. Yazel and Clark Chapel is serving the family.
